Your donations will impact one of the most pressing and invisible needs in Georgetown: Access to Behavioral Health Services

We are raising funds to improve our neighbors access to behavioral health services

The Riverside Behavior and Learning Collaborative (RBLC) is a collaborative of unique licensed counselors and therapists committed to providing a new coordinated effort to improve mental health access and awareness within the Georgetown.

The services provided by RBLC such as counseling, educational testing, speech therapy, and community outreach events have an incredible impact to the community at large.

The collaboration is working to end the negative stigmas associated with seeking assistance with mental health for both children and adults.

Please consider investing in the collaborative and help us improve our community!

Why?

The 2016-2018 South Carolina mental health survey statistics are alarming:

- SC ranks 45th out of 50 states including DC for access to mental health care and 42nd in youth mental health care access.
- Seventy percent of SC youths diagnosed with depression did not receive care.
- 11% of SC adolescents who reported at least one major depressive episode (MDE) did not receive care. MDE is a major contributor to youth suicide.
- Almost 60% of SC adults with mental illness were not receiving care.

We need your help!
