INTRODUCING

The Great Chefs of Pawleys Island Dinner

Local chefs are coming together to serve a seven-course meal you will not forget. The chefs (listed below) are donating their signature dishes to support Friendship Place. Tickets are $100 and a cash bar will be available. Don't miss out on this incredible night!

The evening starts off at 5 pm with a social hour in the Quigley's Next Door bar. Drink tickets will be available at the door. Seating begins at 6 pm.

First up is Chef Danny Smith, from Franks Out Back and "All About You" personal chef service.

Chef Smith is a two-time winner of the South Carolina Seafood Challenge. He recently returned from the World Food Championships in Dallas, placing 3rd with his signature dish. When Chef Smith is not traveling the country competing, he is looking for new and creative ways to give back to the community. The Great Chefs of Pawleys Dinner was his idea!

Amuse-Bouche of Blueberry Goat Cheese Castini with Golden Beets and Local Micro Greens, a Smith specialty will start off the evening.

Followed by Chef Jeremy Potterfield, from Quigley's Pint and Plate. Since 2007, Quigley's has served up great southern style food complemented by the creations of Brew Master Josh Quigley. Jeremy is honoring that southern style of food with his presentation of Seared Pork Belly with Carolina Mustard BBQ (Heritage Farms, NC) with Collard Greens and Apple Slaw. Finishing the course, Chef will serve Organic Pinto Beans with Applewood Bacon and Sorghum Molasses. To learn more about everything that Quigley's offers please go to: https://pintandplate.com/



The next Great Chef will be Chef Greg Metcalfe, owner of Southern Comforts, Southern Dining in the Hammock Shops Village. Chef Metcalfe started his career more than 40 years ago working in his mother's catering business in Cincinnati, Ohio. From there he went on to hone his skills in places like the five-star La' Maissonette. After traveling the country opening up Ritz Carlton Hotels, he and his wife settled in North Carolina where his love of Southern Food started.

Chef Metcalfe will offer a Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Golden Beet Salad on a Field of Greens with Baby Heirlooms, Candied Walnuts, Peppered Goat Cheese and his very own Balsamic Peach Vinaigrette. The soup will be a Smoked Tomato and Basil Bisque with a Smoked Gouda Crouton. Chef Smith is back with his award winning signature dish. Parmesan Crusted Murrells Inlet Flounder, Butter Poached Carolina Shrimp Served Over Palmetto Farms Stone-Ground Yellow Grits, Sauteed Beets and Greens Topped With A Blue Crab Butter Sauce.


Next up is Chef Charlie Bardo. Chef Bardo has been working on the Grand Strand since 1990. His resume includes such highlights as owning his own restaurant and serving as the Executive Chef at Litchfield Golf and Resort. He also teams up with Chef Smith, serving as his assistant in the World Food Competitions. He is currently with R-Way Pizza and Family Tavern in Litchfield Beach. Chef Bardo is offering up his famous Braised Short Ribs, Yukon Gold Roasted Mashed Potatoes With Roasted Root Vegetables.

No meal is complete without a great Dessert and there is none better than the creations of Max Gorre, from Pawleys Island Bakery. Max was trained at the LaVarenne Ecole de Cusine in France and has honed his skills for more than 35 years.
